Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was the last day of all of my classes but Italian, and I wasn't embarrassed to pull out my camera and take a picture with some of the awesome girls I became friends with over the semester.

These are the girls that braved the Cormac McCarthy seminar with me. In a class full of people trying to act as smart as possible we may have stuck out just a little bit, but we had such a fun time doing it. Excuse us for looking a little rough around the edges, between the 4 of us we had been dealing with the stress of the last day of class (big paper due for everyone) and spiders forcing us to sleep in hotel rooms (that was just one of us).Brittany and I actually had 2 classes in a row together. We had fun sitting in the back of Brit Lit with our laptops out and complaining about the move to Shakespeare which denied us of the internet for an entire hour. I will never understand why tortures us so.

Today is officially the last day of classes, and such a joyous occassion also happens to be my birthday this year. Maybe someday I will be sad when my birthday rolls around but I really don't see that happening anytime soon. I have all kinds of fun plans for today, including a massage, eating out for all three meals, and not once thinking about anything that has to do with school. A one day vacation in the middle of the horror that is finals is just what I need.
